About the Ian Taylor Trekking Foundation

The Ian Taylor Trekking Foundation supports communities connected to our trekking journeys through education, healthcare, and long-term development initiatives.

Where It All Began

In 2007, a challenge was set to raise $100,000 to build a school. Despite financial setbacks and the 2008 recession, that goal was achieved.

The Mount Everest Primary School in Uganda was built and continues to educate hundreds of children today. This was the beginning of a long-term commitment to creating meaningful impact in the communities connected to our trekking journeys.
